RedStone October 2026 Digest

RedStone turned six in October, and the month’s two biggest integrations came from opposite ends of the market. DogeOS brought RedStone price data to the Dogecoin ecosystem and its 10M+ wallets. The Canton Development Fund backed RedStone to build CAPS, a pricing standard that keeps institutional positions private on Canton. The Sanctions Oracle also went live, two research reports came out and Filecoin joined the supported chains.

Here is October at RedStone.

RedStone Turns Six

RedStone started in 2020 as Limestone, a project by Marcin Kazmierczak, Jakub Wojciechowski and Alex Suvorov. It kept turning up early to assets that builders wanted and nobody could price yet: liquid restaking tokens in 2023, Ethena’s synthetic dollar in 2024, tokenized funds from 2025 on. Six years later, RedStone secures $9B+ across 110+ chains for 200+ clients and provides data for assets including BlackRock’s BUIDL.

The anniversary post on 28 October tells the full story, and the founders sat down for a long interview on what comes next.

DogeOS Brings DeFi to Dogecoin

DOGE holders have waited more than a decade to use their coins in DeFi. On 26 October, DogeOS, an EVM-compatible app layer for Dogecoin built by the team behind the MyDoge wallet, integrated RedStone. Dogecoin’s base layer was never built to run smart contracts, so 10M+ DOGE wallets had no onchain way to do much beyond holding and sending. DogeOS adds the smart contract layer, and RedStone supplies the prices those contracts need. Price data is live on the DogeOS testnet with mainnet support from launch, for builders working on lending markets, perp DEXs, prediction markets and stablecoins.

CAPS: Private Pricing on Canton

The Canton Development Fund unanimously approved RedStone’s proposal to build CAPS, the Canton Access and Privacy Standard, and RedStone announced it on 29 October. CAPS is built for the assets institutions are bringing to Canton: tokenized funds with no public market price, and the collateral behind loans. Every party prices from the same reference feed. What each institution calculates from it stays inside its own deal, hidden even from the data provider. The first implementations are in development with design partners Zenith (EVM) and Memora, and the whole framework will be free to use under the Apache 2.0 license.

The Tokenized Stocks Report

Tokenized stocks passed $3.17B in onchain value in the year to 28 September, almost five times the figure a year earlier. DeFi uses 2.6% of it. The Tokenized Stocks report, written with Four Pillars and Alea Research, looks at what keeps the rest parked. RedStone first presented it at TokenizeThis Singapore on 6 October, with insights from Securitize, Dinari, Superstate, Extended, Lista DAO, Jupiter and Credora.

Sanctions Oracle

On 8 October RedStone launched its Sanctions Oracle, a contract that checks a wallet against 463 official sanctions lists, OFAC, the UN, the Council of the EU and the UK’s FCDO among them. The answer is true or false. If it reads true, a regulated protocol can revert the transaction on the spot. The lists update weekly with timestamps, so each protocol can set its own rule for how old a list is allowed to be. Switching from the standard sanctions interface takes one line of code, and the oracle is live on Ethereum mainnet.

Filecoin Goes Live

Since 22 October, a RedStone FIL/USD push feed runs on Filecoin mainnet. It writes a new price whenever FIL moves 0.5%, and at least once every four hours. Contracts on the Filecoin Virtual Machine read it with latestRoundData(), the same call most EVM lending protocols already use, so existing lending code can read it as is. Leasing pools and payment contracts on Filecoin hold FIL and often need its dollar value to size collateral. Now they have it onchain.

Next Phase for RWAs on Stellar

Only about 0.1% of Stellar’s $3.56B+ in tokenized RWAs works as DeFi collateral, even after the market grew 5.5x in a year. RedStone’s second Stellar report traces that gap back to the same controls that brought institutional issuers to Stellar in the first place, and looks at what DTCC’s arrival on the network in 2027 could change. It went live on 27 October, the day of TokenizeThis Lisbon, with insights from the Stellar Development Foundation, Templar and Credora.

Bug Bounty on HackenProof

RedStone handed out its own Halloween treats this year: a bug bounty on HackenProof, announced on 31 October, with up to $250k for critical smart contract bugs and up to $10k for web.

The RedStone Podcast

Five new episodes went out in October.

Victor Jung, Hamilton Lane, on private markets at daily NAV

Rob Krugman, Broadridge, on equal rights for onchain investors

Todd McDonald, R3, on packaging real-world yield for DeFi

Anna Wroblewska, Dinari, on why the token must mirror the share

Simon Letort, Canton, on building compliance into the chain

In the Media

Cointelegraph reported on the Canton Foundation grant behind CAPS, and Crypto Briefing wrote up DogeOS. The Tokenized Stocks report travelled too: The Defiant and CryptoPotato both led with its 395% growth figure. Mike Massari, head of partnerships at RedStone, told AlphaWire he expects the first $1 trillion of RWAs onchain by 2029, and “potentially much more than $1 trillion.”

On the Road

Marcin Kazmierczak, RedStone co-founder, spoke at XRP Seoul on 3 October. Then the team flew to Singapore for TOKEN2049 week and hosted TokenizeThis Singapore on 6 October.

The month closed in Lisbon. On 27 October RedStone hosted TokenizeThis Lisbon, a side event to Stellar Meridian, with three panels. Two days later, RedStone and Credora led a 5 km morning run along the Tagus before the Meridian sessions, with pastéis de nata at the finish line.
